Messe Frankfurt India Acquires Screen Print India

Messe Frankfurt India Trade Fair Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt, announced that the company has acquired Screen Print India. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Launched in 1994, Screen Print India covers screen printing, textile printing and digital printing.

The biennial show was previously owned and managed by Aditya Expositions Pvt Ltd. According to Messe Frankfurt India, some 100 exhibitors and 7,000 professional visitors attended the last edition of Screen Print India in 2016.

Devang Sheth, managing director of Aditya Exposition said, “The Screen Print India exhibition made its debut in 1994 and has become bigger in size, wider in scope and greater in significance.”

Sheth added, “It has raised benchmarks for enhancing awareness, high-level networking, knowledge dissemination and industry bonding. Now, it is time to take it to the next level and under the aegis of Messe Frankfurt India Trade Fair Pvt Ltd, Screen Print India will realize its true potential and soar to even greater heights.”

After the acquisition, Screen Print India will become part of Messe Frankfurt’s Texpertise Network, which is a diverse portfolio of textile trade fairs.

The next edition of Screen Print India will take place at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) April 20-22, 2018.
