EXPO PACK M�xico 2014 Completes Second Consecutive Sold-out Event

EXPO PACK México 2014, recently held June 17-20 in Mexico City at Centro Banamex, closed with the show’s second consecutive sold-out event, according to show owner and organizer PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.

With its 18,738 net square meters (201,694 square feet) of exhibit space, 1,025 exhibitors and 25,015 visitors, this year was one of the largest overall events in the history of EXPO PACK México’s history, according to show management.

IAAPA Attractions Expo Sticks with Orlando thru 2025

Orlando is the place to be for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ Attractions Expo, with the organization signing on thru 2025 in the sunny Florida destination.

The weeklong event is the largest conference and trade show for the worldwide attractions industry, and it generates approximately $51.3 million for the Orlando-area economy.

Brisk Traffic Reported at This Year’s ASAE Springtime Expo in D.C.

Just less than 1,500 meetings professionals attended American Society of Association Executive’s annual Springtime Expo at the Walter E. Washington (D.C.) Convention Center May 15, with both attendees and exhibitors reporting strong activity on the showfloor. 

Springtime is the largest one-day trade show in the meetings and events industry.

International CES Audit Confirms Record Attendance of 160,000 at 2014 Event in Las Vegas

The Consumer Electronics Association, owner and producer of the International CES, unveiled the results of an independent audit that confirmed a record number of international professionals – 40,828 (a 12.7 percent increase from the 2013 CES) – attended the 2014 International CES from 144 countries.

United Fresh Foundation Will Launch Fresh Produce Pavilion at School Nutrition Association Annual Convention

The United Fresh Foundation will host the first Fresh Produce Pavilion at the School Nutrition Association Annual Convention July 14-16 in Boston.

The pavilion establishes a destination area on the trade show floor that will focus exclusively on promoting fresh fruits and vegetables.  

“Our goal with this pavilion is help schools maximize their success in serving a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables,” said United Fresh CEO Tom Stenzel.

More than 6,000 nonprofit and association professionals are expected to attend the 2014 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition Aug. 9-12 at Nashville’s Music City Center.

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events selected Doug Ducate, CEM, CMP as this year's "Legend of the Industry" for the IAEE Krakoff Leadership Institute to be held Aug. 2014 and IAEE Krakoff Advanced Leadership Institute to be held Aug. 3-5 in Savannah, Ga.



Each year, IAEE selects a "Legend of the Industry" whose contributions, innovation and leadership have been truly unique and remarkable. An informal setting then allows each participant face-to-face interaction with this industry leader.

AIBTM, IAEE Renew Strategic Partnership to Offer Hosted Buyer Program and Education

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events and the Americas Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition, on tap June 10-12 in Orlando, renewed their partnership to offer a Hosted Buyer program for IAEE members to attend the event, as well as an education session in the AIBTM Learning Theatre.
