AHLA and Questex Join Forces to Launch The Hospitality Show in 2023

August 9, 2022

The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) and Questex have teamed up to launch The Hospitality Show (“The Show”), a new annual hospitality trade show and conference scheduled for June 27-29, 2023 at The Venetian Las Vegas

Designed to be a comprehensive one-stop-shop for hospitality leaders to meet, learn and conduct business across the entire hospitality ecosystem, the new three-day event is designed to reach AHLA’s expansive membership across all segments of the industry, including leading service providers and suppliers, hotel owners and management companies, and senior executives of hotel brands, including CEOs, CCOs, CIOs, CTOs, CPOs and CMOs.

The Show will also be of value to and attract overlapping sectors, including executives from restaurants, bars and interconnected businesses such as travel companies, gyms, spas, clubs and the experience economy, in which Questex boasts extensive relationships.

The Show is a collaborative product of AHLA, the nation’s largest hotel association with nearly 32,000 members, and Questex, a leading media and event company with deep expertise in the hospitality industry that operates Hotel Management – a publication boasting more than 564,000 readers engaged in optimizing hotel operations, the largest U.S. distribution in the market. Questex also produces global events including The International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF), which is attended by nearly every global hotel chain CEO, and several specialty curated buyer/seller events such as Hotec Design.

“As the single entity representing the entire hotel industry, we at AHLA recognize the need to annually bring together our most important voices and respected leaders,” said Chip Rogers, AHLA president and CEO. “The Hospitality Show will be a completely new hospitality event experience – a one-stop-shop for the hospitality industry to meet, learn and do business with stakeholders from other businesses that are key to our operations. We intend to make The Show the most important hotel event of the year and are excited to partner with Questex to make this happen.”

With a focus on technology and operations, The Show will offer a cutting-edge education program offering thought-provoking insights from expert speakers; curated buying experiences within a vibrant exhibit hall designed for discovering and evaluating new products and solutions; personalized business matchmaking and a host of other networking opportunities.

Following the worst two-year period for the hospitality and events sector, Questex is demonstrating its conviction and confidence in both by doubling down and co-launching an event designed to set a new standard for live events while accelerating the growth of the entire hospitality industry, according to Questex officials.

“It’s a privilege for us to team up with AHLA to bring this event to market,” said Alexi Khajavi, president of Questex Hospitality Group. “The Hospitality Show will serve as the rally point for hospitality professionals across all aspects of the industry to gather, build relationships and get business done. The timing is perfect for an industry event that brings the entire ecosystem together in one place.”
