MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND's Showfloor on Track to be 30-percent Larger This Year
Three months before Germany-based Messe Duesseldorf’s MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND, International Exhibition on Hospital, Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical, Medical & Rehabilitation Equipment & Supplies even kicks off, the showfloor is on track to be 30-percent bigger than last year’s show.
The increase in exhibitors at MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND, on tap Sept. 14-16 at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, indicates “improved confidence in Asia’s expanding medical and health care industry as well as a rising interest in the diverse aspects of medical and health care technology,” according to show organizers.
With Asia’s healthcare budgets projected to grow to more than $300 billion in 2012 and the rising need for healthcare due to urbanization, aging population and greater access to new medical technologies, the international landscape of the exhibitors and visitors at MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND also continues to grow, attracting an increasing number of country pavilions, according to Messe Duesseldorf show officials.
In September 2011, the show will welcome country pavilions from Austria, Belgium, China, Germany, India and Korea, as well as from Singapore, Taiwan and the United Kingdom - and for the first time from Japan.
Overall, an anticipated 300 international exhibitors from more than 20 countries will showcase the very latest innovations and technology at this year’s exhibition.
Exhibitors will present the latest equipment and supplies for the hospital, medical and health care sectors, such as diagnostic, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation technology, according to show organizers.
Visitors from Southeast Asia, particularly from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore, also are expected to be the majority of the attendees.
Special offers at the show will include a free business matchmaking service that will enable participants to view comprehensive exhibitor and visitor profiles or opt for automated business matches and schedule appointments prior to the exhibition.
During the event, there also will be a business-matching lounge with qualified staff to assist with business-matching opportunities.
Also, international attendees and exhibitors will be able to take advantage of the “Extra Night, Extra Smile” offer, which includes a complimentary third night’s stay with a two night or longer paid reservation at selected hotels in Bangkok.
In addition, the Extra Smile component will facilitate special group fast tracking and airport transfers, a complimentary Bangkok city tour by tram car, as well as special discounts at leading department stores and entertainment venues.
