New Contracts: Corcoran, SmithBucklin, Convention Data Services, EJ Krause All Gain Business
The summer months are over and fall officially has arrived, with several companies recently signing contracts.
Corcoran Expositions has been retained by the Water Quality Association to assist with exhibit sales and related services.
“We look forward to working with the Water Quality Association in producing their upcoming trade show,” said Tom Corcoran, founder of the 26-year-old Corcoran Expositions. “We hope to work with them for years to come.”
Corcoran Expositions will provide exhibit sales support and related services for the Lisle, Ill.-based Water Quality Association for the 2017 and 2018 shows.
The 2017 show, the “WQA Convention & Exposition,” will be held March 28-31, 2017, in Orlando. The most recent show drew 3,500 attendees, with 270 exhibitors over 54,000 net square feet.
The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA) has selected SmithBucklin to provide full-service association management.
SmithBucklin's Susan Lane will serve as TNNA's executive director, and TNNA's headquarters moved to Chicago in September.
Founded in 1974, The National NeedleArts Association is a community of business professionals dedicated to the advancement and promotion of needle arts — textile crafts and decorative sewing. TNNA encourages passion and leadership in the needle arts industry through education, knowledge exchange and a strong marketplace.
"SmithBucklin will help us in developing new ways to better serve our members in an ever-changing industry," said TNNA Board President Dave Van Stralen. "We appreciate SmithBucklin's proven ability to provide scalable expertise in specific areas, such as tradeshow support and enhanced marketing and communications, while delivering leading practices in association management."
Convention Data Services (CDS) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) have signed a three-year deal.
The contract calls for CDS to provide full registration and lead retrieval services for two ICSC events: RECon and the New York National Deal Making Conference.
Additionally, CDS will integrate with ICSC’s membership system to provide a smooth registration process with photo ID badges for attendees.
With more than 36,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors, RECon provides the shopping center industry with networking, deal making and educational opportunities for retail real estate professionals from around the world.
The New York National Deal Making Conference is a great opportunity for owners, developers, retailers, brokers, lenders, municipalities, property asset managers and product and service providers to gather under one roof to exhibit, make deals and form successful business partnerships.
