TEMBO Launches Digital and On-Demand Training and Development Courses for Global Event Professionals
London-based marketing, content production and event management services provider TEMBO has unveiled TEMBO TECHNIQUES, a new training and development service designed to equip event professionals with the essential skills and knowledge they need to succeed in conference production and event marketing.
With an emphasis on interactivity and hands-on learning to help empower team members to learn through practical experience, TEMBO’s training portfolio will encompass a wide array of courses, with an option to tailor bespoke training solutions to meet specific business needs, according to TEMBO CEO and Founder Kate Disley.

An interactive course that introduces the art of creating high-quality event content, “Conference Production 101,” is TEMBO TECHNIQUE’s inaugural educational offering, created to establish a robust content development foundation for conferences, exhibitions, seminars and hybrid events. The course is delivered by Sindy Cain, an experienced event and brand content strategist boasting a 15-year career in event production, including the successful delivery of more than 200 B2B events.
“This course is pivotal for the event industry because it equips conference production professionals with tried-and-tested knowledge and methods necessary to curate high-quality, stand-out programs for various types of events that deliver commercial success,” Cain explained.
Conference Production 101 course modules include:

- How to conduct a competitor check, desk research and in-depth research calls
- Tactics to map out and funnel down research

- Curating commercially engaging sessions and compelling formats

- Nailing your star power, keynotes and diversity, equality and inclusion
- Slick speaker management, comms and briefing calls
- Pre-event and onsite delivery checklist, roles and responsibilities
- Post-show and final tips, tricks and cheats to help you succeed
“Event Content Strategy” will be the next event production course to be offered, and a series of event marketing classes are also in development. The inaugural marketing course, “Email Planning for Event Marketing Superheroes,” is currently available.
Tailored to meet the individual needs of event professionals, TEMBO’s training courses are available in three formats: in-person, live online and on-demand, ensuring that event professionals can access training that aligns with their schedules and preferred learning methods, according to TEMBO officials.
