2024 IPPE Opens In Atlanta With Its Largest Trade Show Floor Ever

February 1, 2024

The 2024 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), which opened Jan. 30 and runs through Feb. 1, features 620,000 square feet of exhibit space with 1,434 exhibitors — the largest trade show floor in IPPE’s history, covering all four halls of the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The vast trade show floor showcases the latest technology, equipment and services used in the production and processing of animal food, meat and poultry and egg products. About 30,000 visitors from 120 countries are expected to attend, but final numbers won’t be available until after the show closes.

Looking back: In 2023, IPPE featured 1,184 exhibitors covering 532,190 sq. ft. of exhibit space, according to IPPE. The show reported 27,274 registered attendees, with domestic attendance making up 74% of the total number. Representing 125 countries, 26% of visitors were international.

Context: Representing the entire chain of protein production and processing, IPPE is a collaboration of three shows: International Feed Expo, International Meat Expo and the International Poultry Expo. The event is sponsored by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), North American Meat Institute (NAMI) and U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY).

The 2024 winners include: Evonik Animal Nutrition, Amlan International and Laitram Machinery.

Beyond the show floor: The 2024 edition of IPPE provides attendees with a full week of education programs, innovative technology, engaging activities on the show floor and enhanced networking opportunities with industry leaders from the animal food, meat and poultry and egg industries. With input from AFIA, USPOULTRY and the Meat Institute, IPPE also features more than 80 hours of education sessions focused on current industry issues.
