Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau Launches Redesigned, Mobile-Friendly Website
The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau has launched an improved and mobile-friendly website, visitdetroit.com.
With an attractive, redesigned interface that combines meetdetroit.com, visitdetroit.com and the Visit Detroit blog, the new website provides users with a more comprehensive and streamlined online experience.
“The new and improved visitdetroit.com offers the best possible online experience for leisure travelers and convention attendees,” explained Larry Alexander, DMCVB president and CEO.
He added, “Enhanced functionality, planning tools and carefully-crafted itineraries will provide visitors with the resources they need to plan a visit to our region.”
Along with its mobile-friendly design and an advanced search function, the new website also offers planning tools including itineraries for any interest and an in-depth mapping feature that help users find top local attractions, dining options and hotels categorized by location or event throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
Under the website’s MEET section, meeting and event planners not only have access to planning features but also promotional tools including downloadable images, videos and copy to promote conventions hosted in metro Detroit.
In addition, the site’s “Inside the D” section offers a plethora of content to help familiarize prospective visitors with everything the city has to offer, including up-to-date development news to ensure business and leisure visitors are kept abreast of progress within the region.
