LIGHTFAIR International Will Head Back to Vegas in 2020
In response to the enthusiastic feedback of its attendees and exhibitors, LIGHTFAIR International will return to Las Vegas for its next West coast show in 2020.
Staged alternately on the East and West coasts, the annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center after a six-year absence.
The last time the massive show was in Vegas, in 2014, LIGHTFAIR set new West coast occupancy and attendance records, according to Bob Maricich, CEO of International Market Centers.
“LIGHTFAIR and Las Vegas are natural partners with a strong performance history setting the stage for our 2020 return,” Maricich said. “Across every measure, LFI customers consistently name Las Vegas as their preferred West coast venue. The 2020 trade show and conference will answer that call with all the innovations, experiences and resonance the lighting and design industry has come to expect.”
Bringing the industry’s newest, most advanced lighting products and technologies to an audience of lighting designers, specifiers, architects, consultants and engineers from around the world, LIGHTFAIR showcases a wide array of solutions. These include LEDs, OLEDs, luminaires, energy-efficient products, alternative energy, solar power, decorative, controls, software, digital signage, healthcare and hospitality.
The show also features six pavilions: Design; Exterior Roadway & Lighting; Global Light + Design; Intelligent Lighting; IoT, and New Exhibitor.
LIGHTFAIR has additionally committed to a 2021 return to Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where LFI 2019 is set to take place May 19-23.
Sponsored by Illuminating Engineering Society and International Association of Lighting Designers, LIGHTFAIR International is produced and managed by IMC.
