The American Society of Association Executives held its 2013 CEO/CIO Pre-Conference Program and Technology Conference & Expo Dec. 3-5 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center drawing 1,233 total participants, the second highest attended conference in its eight-year history.
Participants took part in more than 40 high-level education sessions within five pathways, a sold-out trade show floor and the Technology Town Hall Meeting.
“This year, we tried a new learning format for attendees that focused on five major trends and strategies impacting associations and the technology sector,” said ASAE President & CEO John H. Graham IV, CAE.
He added, “The new format really resonated with our audience because it gave them the opportunity to delve into a smaller number of topics, engage in thoughtful discussions, and take back strategies and tactics they can implement into their organizations.”
