Sue Deveaux Named Group Vice President, Healthcare Sector for J. Spargo & Associates

Sue Deveaux has been named group vice president, Healthcare Sector for J. Spargo & Associates.


Deveaux and her team will provide exposition sales and management services to some of the country's largest medical meetings, according to company officials.  


"Sue's 20 years of industry experience, including her 15 years at Pri-Med, where she played a pivotal role in the growth of the organization, made her an outstanding candidate for this position," said Susan Bracken, president and COO of J. Spargo & Associates.


Deveaux will work with J. Spargo’s clients, such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American College of Nurse Practitioners, the American Osteopathic Association, the Drug Information Association, the National Medical Association and others.  


In addition, Deveaux will be involved in the development of new business and oversee account transitions.  


While working with Pri-Med, Deveaux's accomplishments included increasing the number of events produced from 24, generating $17M in revenue, to 95, generating $60M.  


Deveaux possesses an understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment in which J. Spargo’s clients are operating, according to J. Spargo officials.


She is well versed in the PhRMA guidelines, the Medical Device Code of Conduct, ACCME regulations and new legislation requiring exhibitors to follow strict federal reporting guidelines when interacting with physicians.  


Deveaux has led teams charged with exhibit and sponsorship sales, client services, operations, meeting planning and registration.


Deveaux received her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University and later attended graduate school at Boston College earning her Masters of Business Administration.
