Guidebook and Fonteva Partner on Mobile App Technology for Associations
Fonteva Mobile Powered by Guidebook, a new partnership between mobile app building platform Guidebook and Fonteva, a provider of association and events management software, allows associations to create and manage their own custom event apps.
According to Jerry Huskins, CEO of Fonteva, associations increasingly rely on mobile apps in communicating and engaging with members. Creating a valuable mobile experience is not only a highly effective way to connect with members but also improve renewal rates and increase sponsor revenues.
The partnership provides an immediate benefit to Fonteva’s nearly 200 global association customers, who no longer have to work with another provider on a separate mobile solution, if they so choose.
By leveraging Guidebook’s features, associations can provide members with event schedules, group discussions, social feeds, surveys, networking and messaging tools. In addition, Fonteva Mobile is Salesforce native, allowing associations to access real-time event data without having to leave their content management system. Information also flows seamlessly between Guidebook and Fonteva.
Matthew McHugh, senior manager of Customer Success at Guidebook, says the response from customers that are beginning to implement Fonteva Mobile has been “tremendous.”
“From a broader perspective, this partnership opens a tremendous feedback loop for Guidebook,” said McHugh. “The two companies will learn a lot from one another, and Guidebook’s association customers are going to reap the benefits of that applied knowledge.”
Next up on the new partnership’s agenda will be a second phase that includes a membership engagement app designed to make it easier for associations to bring their entire membership community together, he added.
Fonteva is the second addition to Guidebook’s Partner Program since its launch earlier this year.
