New York Times Best-selling Author Liza Mundy Will Speak at ASAE's In Honor of Women Event
Liza Mundy, award-winning reporter and New York Times best-selling author of three books including, “The Richer Sex and the Rise of Women’s Economic Power", will be the luncheon speaker at the 2012 In Honor of Women (IHOW) event, which celebrates women who have made an impact in the association industry through their leadership and contributions.
The full-day educational program and awards luncheon is Oct. 31 at the Capitol Hilton in Washington, DC.
Mundy will discuss her newest book, “The Richer Sex and the Rise of Women’s Economic Power”, which states that almost 40 percent of working wives out earn their partners.
She will talk about how wage gaps have transformed sex, love, and marriage using statistics, social research, and compelling stories.
IHOW’s opening session will provide women from all career levels - managers to CEO’s - an opportunity to learn how to navigate their career.
Four female CEO’s will share lessons learned, pivotal career moments and challenges they have overcome.
Panelists include: Esther Aguilera, President and CEO, Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute; Susan Neely, CAE, president and CEO, American Beverage Association; Arlene Pietranton, CAE, PhD, CEO, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; and Toni Samuel, CAE, CEO, American Society for Public Administration.

The program recognizes women nationwide for their contributions to the industry.
