Dan, who works for www.ges.com, has over 35 years of experience working in producing major expositions in Las Vegas and throughout the United States including the largest machinery and tradeshow in the United States CONEXPO-CON/AGG AND IFPE.

The hustle and bustle of move-in never gives me the chance to truly appreciate the work that goes into constructing a trade show. Imagine, from the outside looking in, just how amazing of a feat it is. We take every available space of the Las Vegas Convention Center – all exhibit halls, parking lots and staging lots, along with the LVH and transform it into an experience where attendees make their purchasing decisions. It’s pretty darn cool if I do say so myself.

What does it take to move in North America’s largest trade show? A team of experts and a lot of equipment, electricity, manpower, time, etc. When it comes toCONEXPO-CON/AGG & IFPE and working together to bring this massive show to life, we’ve got it down to a science. Our nearly 40-year partnership goes into the show and a team who know the inner workings of each detail of a process. As a result, the outcome is nothing short of a huge success.

Unlike most trade shows where the move in is done over several days, we started moving in CONEXPO-CON/AGG& IFPE 29 days prior to the show opening on March 4, 2014. To say I’m excited is an understatement. I’m proud of our team and we are fortunate to have a true partnership with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the show’s producer. Together we plan and execute an incredible event.

Take a look at this infographic below for a glimpse of what it takes to construct CONEXPO-CON/AGG & IFPE 2014!
