ibtm china 2016 Will Focus on Sustainability, Social Media Strategy, Best Practices

ibtm china 2016, scheduled Sept. 7-8 at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC), is set to deliver an impressive line-up of international speakers, who will host sessions on sustainability, best practice, social media strategy, tools and insight in the delivery of successful events. 
 
Putting sustainability back on the agenda, Roger Simmons – Sustainability Director (APAC) for MCI will look at what's driving change in sustainability in China, as well as what the future holds for event professionals.

Attendees can learn from practical case studies using events that are environmentally sustainable whilst supporting the local community and economic targets.
 
The International Association of Exhibitions and Events will present a case study around their flagship event ‘Expo! Expo!’ - sharing best practice on how to create an award winning event.

Rosemary Ma will also contribute in this session, sharing insights and trends around successful education program at events.
 
Ryan Lim, principal Consultant & Founding Partner, QED is set to deliver a session focusing on social media strategy and how this is a key component in the marketing mix of any successful event marketer, the session is applicable to both exhibitors and hosted buyers and will provide valuable tips on how to leverage social media for the whole event cycle.
 
Editor in Chief of BT Mice, Lenny Ja will also head up a panel discussion designed to help the corporate meeting planner through the challenges and impact of the procurement services within the meetings industry.
