Two Energy Industry Events in Beijing to be Co-located
Two energy industry events, Energy Storage China (ESC) and Clean Energy Expo China (CEEC), will be held co-located in 2017, at China International Exhibition Center (CIEC) in Beijing, from 29th to 30th March.
ESC, founded in 2014 and organised by Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai, attracted about 30 exhibitors and 2,186 visitors to the recent edition in May 2016, focusing on technology and applications for the energy storage industry. CEEC, organised by China Electricity Council and Tiger Exhibition Company, was first held in 2008, covering the entire clean energy generation value chain. The latest edition in March 2016 occupied 27,000 m2 of exhibition space and attracted 323 exhibitors and more than 23,000 visitors.
According to the organisers, the co-located events are expected to feature more than 500 exhibitors and attract some 25,000 professional visitors, while covering an exhibition space of 40,000 m2.
Heiko M. Stutzinger, Deputy General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai, was quoted, “Energy Storage China is the key storage event in the country, and our alliance with CEEC will make it even more strategic and productive for expo visitors.” Wang Hong, General Manager of Tiger Exhibition, also agreed, “We are optimistic and confident in the strong alliance between our CEEC and Energy Storage China… We believe that both events will drive the development of the renewable energy and energy storage industries in China and Asia.”
