International Association of Exhibitions and Events Names Two Vice Presidents

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events named Scott Craighead, vice president of Exhibitions and Events, and Rick Jennings, vice president of Partnership Relations.

"These promotions are natural steps as IAEE enhances its strategic plan," said IAEE President David DuBois.

He added, "This year's meetings have been very successful and we have a very busy year planned for 2013, in which we will continue to raise the bar for our members and our industry partners."

ABC Kids Expo Forms Strategic Alliance with Two Baby, Maternity Products-related Shows

All Baby & Child, owner of the ABC Kids Expo held earlier this year in Louisville, Ky., decided to team up with two other baby and maternity product-related trade shows – the China-based Children’s Baby Maternity Expo and the U.K.-based the Harrogate Nursery Fair/Baby Products Association.

The strategic alliance includes mutual cooperation and reciprocal pavilions in each other’s shows.

Mexican Packaging Association (AMEE) Will Bring Conference Program to EXPO PACK Guadalajara 2013

PMMI, the owner and producer of the launch event EXPO PACK Guadalajara 2013, has secured AMEE, the Mexican Packaging Association,to provide education with a two-day, six-session conference program designed especially to meet the needs of businesses in Western Mexico.

“AMEE created the program to address changing trends and to strengthen Mexican firms with training and technological updates,” said Hiram Cruz Cortes, the newly-appointed director general of AMEE.

Radiological Society of North America's Annual Meeting Draws Nearly 54,000 to Chicago

The Radiological Society of North America’s 98th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting (RSNA 2012), one of the largest medical meetings in the United States, drew nearly 54,000 attendees Nov. 25-30 to Chicago’s McCormick Place.

“The RSNA annual meeting is the world's premier scientific and educational forum in radiology, bringing together more radiology and medical imaging professionals than any other venue,” said Mark Watson, RSNA’s executive director.

RSNA 2011 ranked No. 42 on the 2011 TSNN Top 250 trade shows list.

J. Spargo & Associates, Inc. has been appointed the official exposition sales and management firm for the Clinical Lab Expo, sponsored by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.
