Mid-Pacific Conference on Birth and Primal Health Research on Tap in Hawai'i

More than 700 participants from around the world are expected to attend the Mid-Pacific Conference on Birth and Primal Health Research from Oct. 26-28 at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.

The meeting, which was preceded in February 2010 by the Mid-Atlantic Conference on Birth and Primal Health Research in the Canary Islands, is being held in the Pacific for the first time.

It will feature a lineup of the world’s foremost authorities on prenatal advancements and childbirth, and draw participation from nearly 40 different professions, according to show organizers.

2012 World Dairy Expo Draws Bigger Crowd to More Exhibits

Nearly 72,000 attendees checked out not only more exhibits, but also a bigger showfloor at the recent World Dairy Expo at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis.

The number of attendees saw an uptick of 5.6 percent, compared with last year’s show.

In addition, there was a 6.5-percent increase of exhibitors to 863 and a showfloor that grew 8.8 percent to 560,600 net square feet, compared with 2011, according to John Rozum, sales manager for World Dairy Expo.

As co-creators and champions of their clients’ brands, ad agencies can immensely help their B2B clients achieve their marketing goals at trade shows. And because trade shows are the largest marketing expenditure for B2B companies, ad agencies have good incentive to get involved.

This is the third part of a six-part series on WiFi at events. Assuming your venue has sufficient WiFi coverage everywhere it is needed, the next component you need to consider for good network design is capacity.

Capacity is a little more obscure of a topic than coverage because, unless you are a network engineer, you probably have never run into a situation where you connected so many devices to one access point that you exceeded the limit of the access point’s capacity.
