EXPO PACK M�xico Breaks Records; New Show Launched in Guadalajara

Not only did the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute’s EXPO PACK México2012, held June 26-29 at Centro Banamex in Mexico City, break new records with its showfloor, but the association also decided to expand its presence in the country with a new show launch in Guadalajara.

The EXPO PACK México  show spanned 18,475 net square meters (198,800 net square feet) of exhibit space, a 13-percent increase compared with previous editions, and welcomed 5,139 attendees and 1,015 exhibiting companies.

Our show schedule is jammed packed most of the time. Planning strategically for the pre- and during show periods is important, but after making the exhibiting investment, many organizations neglect what happens after the show. Communicating with attendees and continuing the conversation is key to maintaining relationships and sealing business partnerships.

10 Tips to Check Off for Your Next Trade Show

As you do your final checklist of your trade show, there is a list of 10 items I highly recommend you check off so you can say you are complete.

1.  Light it.  Lighting is your friend.  Don’t make it seem like a prison – have illumination to set the scene.  Bright is not always better.

2. Connect it.  Have connection in your booth, both with abundant technology and each demonstration tying into your overall message of your booth.

A few months after Maritz Travel bought Experient, the company has aligned its corporate market sales and operations teams to better serve the industry, according to company officials.

The Experient brand will focus on association, tradeshow and government markets, with corporate efforts aligning with the Maritz Travel brand.
