Two Cosmetic Associations Partner with in-cosmetics North America

Two leading cosmetic trade associations have been confirmed as partners for this year’s in-cosmetics exhibition in the U.S.

The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors Association (ICMAD) and The Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) are backing the region’s newest cosmetic ingredients event, highlighting its importance and value to the country’s booming personal care market.

Both partnerships will primarily focus on promotion of the event – which takes place Oct. 11-12 – to their respective membership databases.

When setting up your trade show booth, it’s imperative that you make sure that booth is up-to-date and ready to impress. For many, this means bringing laptops, tablets and other devices that require electricity. Many vendors order electricity for their booths for this exact reason. However, some forego utilizing their electricity to its fullest by not making sure they have proper lighting for their booth!

Clarion Events, AC Business Media Both Make Strategic Acquisitions

U.K.- based Clarion Events, which was just acquired by Blackstone, and AC Business Media both recently made strategic acquisitions to add to their growing portfolios.

Clarion, the parent company of iGB Affiliate, acquired the Affiliate Summit Corporation, which includes the Affiliate Summit tradeshow and conference series, FeedFront Magazine, GeekCast.fm, ReveNews.com, and the annual AffStat industry benchmark reports.

Affiliate Summit Co-Founders, Missy Ward and Shawn Collins will continue running Affiliate Summit in the capacity of Co-CEOs.
