Arnold, Md.-based mobile app provider Core-apps has decided to expand by acquiring Las Vegas-based event software management company GoExpo.
“Core-apps is excited to offer the GoExpo software as our own. Our customers kept asking us to develop this type of offering so they would not have to manage multiple vendors to get their event done,” said Jay Tokosch, Core-apps CEO and co-founder.

Some shows still are offering printed show directories, while others include an online exhibitor directory as part of their event website or mobile app. Creative Portal Services is looking to take that a step further with a 365 day a year web vendor portal.
“Thank of it as a giant buyers guide. It can be scaled to any size association,” said Pete Fenlon, executive sales manager for Creative Portal Services.

Every year, a2z Inc. published mobile apps for numerous leading trade shows, enabling us to gain significant insight into how audiences use apps before and during the event.

Like many health care conferences, poster sessions at the GetWellNetwork’s annual user conference, GetConnected, are another way education is delivered to attendees. They also give attendees the opportunity to showcase their own work.
But, at this year’s user conference in San Diego, GetWellNetwork decided to go high tech, replacing poster boards with interactive touch screens.
