Plans Released for New Hotel Adjacent to New Orleans Ernest N. Morial CC

Matthews Southwest Hospitality, a national hospitality industry developer based in Dallas, released an initial conceptual design of the proposed headquarters hotel that would be attached to the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, giving the public a first glimpse at the proposed exterior of the $558 million addition to the city’s hospitality inventory. 

International Association of Exhibitions and Events Reveals 2018 Award Winners

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events unveiled this year’s recipients of its awards program, which recognizes IAEE members and member companies who have made outstanding contributions to the exhibitions and events industry.

Along with the Woman of Achievement and International Excellence award winners, which were announced earlier this year, these award recipients will be honored during Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition on tap Dec. 11-13 in New Orleans.

Record Number of Exhibitors Headed to bauma CHINA

The “who’s who” of the industry will be there when bauma CHINA opens its doors again from Nov. 27-30 in Shanghai.

More than 3,300 companies will present themselves at Asia’s largest trade fair – 300 more than in 2016.

Accordingly, 200,000 visitors are expected, which would be a new record. The Chinese construction machinery industry is booming as bauma CHINA approaches.

73,000+ Buyers Visit Twin Lighting Fairs and Eco Expo Asia

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 20th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition), the third Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo and the 13th Eco Expo Asia concluded with a record number of over 73,000 buyers from 154 countries and regions visiting the three events - an increase of 6% on last year's attendance.
