Imagine a potential attendee has landed on your homepage for the first time. They’re considering your show and possibly two others. They are immediately distracted by various pop-up ads, complicated hero sliders transitioning way too fast and an endless sea of content. Frustrated, the user gives your event one last chance by surveying the top navigation to check out registration pricing and speaker details — but sadly, these items are hidden beneath three layers of navigation and odd naming conventions.
This is a snapshot of what users may experience when it comes to event websites. We’ve… more

Premium exhibitor profiles are a valuable tool within your event technology solution. Frankly, if your solution doesn’t offer an option for premium exhibitor profiles, it may be time to look for a new one. This is because your event may be missing out on thousands in unrecognized revenue from the sale of these digital add-ons.
First, what is a premium exhibitor profile? It is an upgraded profile for companies who are exhibiting at your event and it provides deeper insight than a traditional option. Your event may have a printed show program for their attendees. Within that show program,… more

Event professionals are always on the go, and sometimes it can be challenging to keep up with industry news. While we are obviously in favor of news articles, it’s nice to have options. And for those times you’re on a plane, in a car, taking a walk or just needing a break from the computer screen, listening to a podcast can be a great way to learn.
Paris-based event app and matchmaking platform provider Swapcard is betting that there is a large audience of event professionals out there who would agree.
As the boundaries between business and consumer marketing continue to blur, podcasts… more
